UniSC Presents Little Haven’s Care Model Research at CPCRE 2023

On Friday the 27th of November Sue Manton (CEO) and Lisa McAulay (Allied Health Coordinator) attended The 2023 Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education’s (CPCRE) 21st Annual Research Conference.

This event was significant, marking the inaugural public disclosure of the University of Sunshine Coast’s year-long evaluation of Little Haven’s Community-Based Palliative Care Model. Published here.

The CPCRE annual conference brings together palliative and end of life care researchers and clinicians from all settings including specialist palliative care, oncology, chronic disease management and aged care sector.

The theme for this year’s conference was Beyond the Divide: Palliative Care in Regional and Remote Areas.

It was wonderful to see the UniSC Research on Little Haven’s Model of Care presentation by the project leader Dr John Rosenberg RN PhD, School of Health. Senior Lecturer, palliative care researcher.
