Volunteers put the fun into fundraising

Little Haven receives less than one-third of its operating budget every year from Government sources. The rest comes from our community, through donations and bequests, gifts from local social and sporting clubs and community organisations, and our own indefatigable fundraising. We are a community that cares for its own. At Little Haven, our fundraisers work in groups with their own elected coordinator, under the overall direction of the Little Haven Business Manager. If you’d like to know more about any specific fundraising group, contact that group’s coordinator or our Business Manager, Sue Manton.

We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop – Mother Teresa

There are just so many areas in which you can help Little Haven fundraise. Every little bit helps; Little Haven is only able to help others because every one of our volunteers does what they can, when they can. No matter how much or how little time you are able to give, your contribution does make a difference and if you find yourself riding a camel to raise money at our Cup Day Luncheon, just hang on tight and enjoy the ride.

You could find yourself singing along at our Australia Day BBQ
Enjoying a feast of music as well as food at Little Haven’s Christmas in July
Or riding a camel at Gympie’s own Melbourne Cup Luncheon and Camel Races
