It is absolutely a great day anytime community minded folk come in and hand over a bag of money. So it was for Sue Manton, CEO of Little Haven when organisers Leith Hornsby and Kathy Sandison dropped by with the proceeds of funds raised on August 4th at the Circus with A Purposes (CWAP) Trivia Night benefitting Little Haven. Raising $1000 the Trivia Night held at Gympie West School was a great night for all in attendance thanks to a fun crowd and terrific organising by the CWAP committee. Lovely prizes, mostly handmade or home grown were given to the winners of each round with the overall winner being Table ATE. A raffle donated by local businesses and the chance to buy hints or answers proving very popular on the night. If you missed out this year circle Feb 15th 2020 for their next Trivia Night.
This lovely group of ladies (Circus with a Purpose) who have chosen to support Little Haven’s work in our local community also have a fantastic outing to Moffatdale Winery to enjoy a Tuscan Feast planned for Saturday November 16th. Leaving Gympie at 9am, the cost of $80 covers bus trip, morning tea, wine tasting, lunch and entertainment.
